Marjorie Kouns is a Voice Actor and Public Artist known for her character voices on Dora the Explorer and the voices of political pundit Ann Coulter, and Sarah Palin. For over seven years she’s voiced numerous radio and television commercials, PSAs, telephony (on-hold messaging), and just recently became one of the go-to voices for select Fox-affiliate TV stations in the Midwest.

Her clients include:  MiamiBeach411.com, Dun & Bradstreet-Power Profiles, Children’s Hospital Boston, Spanish dubbing for Centerpoint Energy, as well as the voices of both Olive Oyl (Popeye) and Lois Lane (Superman) in the Fleischer Cartoon digital remix series. She’s also the Voice of God (live announcer) for: Radio Ink Hispanic Radio Conference Awards – the Medallas de Cortez, MarketAmerica and Shop.com conferences, Cinco de Mayo Festivals, and the New York City Marathon. Marjorie has recently been featured in a number of films including ‘The Iceman’ directed by Ariel Vromen.

Marjorie’s ear for music started out when she was young.  She studied flute for ten years and found that the elements of music were similar to the tones of her numerous languages that she speaks today.  While fluent in Spanish, she also speaks Mandarin, French, Italian, and even a little Greek in her unique “American Tourist Dialect”.

 She is a member of League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC). Her worldwide public art projects include Shades of Shreveport, and Body As Canvas.  She practices Qi Gong, T'ai Chi Chuan, and Argentine Tango.

On a personal note:  Marjorie grew up with two older brothers in Melrose Park, IL along with her mother of Greek heritage and love of languages, and social dancing, partnered with a father who exemplified service through his love of parks and recreation.

Marjorie Kouns recently signed with Del Corral & Associates in both voiceover and on-camera representation in Louisiana.
She is also represented Pastorini-Bosby Talent for both voiceover and on-camera representation in Texas.
